One of the biggest
challenges of domain flipping lie in how to find end-user buyers for your
domain. This is the reason why you bought the domain to flip in the first
place. Unfortunately, it is not always easy to sell your domain very fast. In this
post, I shall guide you on how you can increase the speed of your sell, by
locating your end-user potential buyers.
Feasibility
Study
For you to sell
fast, you must include the question of who to sell to while making research for
the domain to buy. If you board a boat
without knowing the destination, you will end up where you are. In your feasibility
study, you should have a guide of who and who should be potential end-user
buyers of the domain, among other factors you will consider, in order to make
sure your domain is valuable
and has need
to satisfy.
Use Tools to
Search for Buyers
About the
use of tools I would recommend two tools that I mostly use
to search for
end-user buyers. They are whoisology.com and namebio.com. use the later to look
up the list of similar sales and go to the former to search for the current
owners. From the data you get in whoisology, make further research about the
company, or the individual. Having done that you can now email them to point
out to them the need they may have for your domain.
Use Search
Engine to Generate List of Potential Buyers
This is the
easiest way to get the list of potential end use buyer. I usually try to make a
list of about 15 potential buyers using this simple system. Just go to
Google.com or yahoo, and type the exact keyword of your domain in the search
bar. You will see something like this.
You can see
that this keyword has a lot of adword attached to it. It is very competitive and
so you will have to make a list of the ads, and the urls that is related to the
keyword. Go to page 2 and 3 and so on until
you are satisfied. Make a list of these investors and go to whoisology.com and
research them.
Contact them
Have gotten
enough information about these people, you can now decide to contact them professionally, and introduce your domain to them.
